As a side note, I would like to make note of an error on one of my slides pointed out to me by one of my audience members. The error is in regards to the slide shown below.

The Association for Talent Development [ASTD] referenced date is listed as December 12, 2017. This date is an error.

In my original presentation (presented at Southeast Dreamin’ 2017), I used only the 2012 numbers reported on December 12, 2013 in the ASTD State of the Industry report. This number stood alone in my presentation and was further fleshed out for the 2017 year using a basic formula with the individual 2016 ASTD report findings. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused in my session.
